Meet Ryan, President & CEO
Ryan Neely is the President and CEO of York Transportation, an exclusive Teamsters Local 399 Signatory company, specializing in Studio Transportation for Film and Television Production. Stepping into the role after succeeding founder Steve York, who dedicated 30 years to building the company’s outstanding industry reputation, Ryan is committed to honoring that rich legacy while driving the business into its next chapter of growth. With a sharp focus on operational excellence and strong personal relationships, he leads the York team in delivering the reliable, high-stakes transportation solutions on which Hollywood productions depend.
Before joining forces with York Transportation in 2021, he previously served as Design Engineer for Nordstrom's corporate Visual Merchandising team in Seattle, eventually launching Neely Movers Inc., a boutique service catering to high-end clientele. Specializing in home staging, antique furniture relocation, and white-glove art handling for invaluable works of art, Ryan honed the skills and coordination required to transport irreplaceable cargo. This rare combination of creative insight and meticulous asset protection ensures York Transportation provides excellent care and precision for every studio client. He holds a deep respect for the union workforce and the fast-paced demands of the entertainment industry, ensuring York Transportation remains a trusted partner for studio logistics. Outside of steering the company’s strategic vision, Ryan is a painter, and enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with his family.
